I am so excited to be joining the Synergy Fitness family. I have been training at Synergy Fitness for over eighteen months and it has become my home. I look forward to being a part of the personal training team and to meeting all of you,
I began my fitness journey five years ago when I was unhealthy due to significant weight gain. I knew I wanted to change my eating habits and begin exercising but I had little knowledge about lifting weights or eating in a way that would help me accomplish my goals. I spent a lot of time trying fad diets, expensive shakes/supplements and gym workouts that I saw on social media. They were very ineffective and I became frustrated and felt like I was wasting my time. I didn’t know what to do, did not want to continue being stagnant and wanted to give up.
I decided to hire a personal trainer and nutritional coach to support me with accomplishing my goals, as they had the knowledge and expertise in the areas of habit change, nutrition, fat loss and muscle development. I worked with the trainer weekly and began to see noticeable change. I had more energy and felt healthier. A passion was sparked and a sustainable and enjoyable lifestyle was created. I continued to make incremental progress and refined my fitness goals becoming a competitive bodybuilder in 2021.
This brings us to the present day. I exercise consistently and am determined to continue making progress. In the last year, I have not missed a meal, workout or cardio session as I love how I feel and the progress I have made and will continue to make. This determination and drive helped me to be named the Women’s Physique Overall Winner at the NPC Vermont Championships, a bodybuilding competition on August 14, 2021. I am in the process of training to compete in two regional amateur competitions and a national level competition in early 2022. My goal is to become a IFBB Pro Bodybuilder and compete at The Olympia, the world’s most prestigious bodybuilding competition.
In addition to being a competitive bodybuilder, I am an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, as well as a fitness and nutritional coach. As a personal trainer and coach, I can help you achieve your goals whether they are learning to develop healthier habits, implement a workout or nutrition plan, lose fat, tone or develop muscle. The plans I create with clients are individualized and made to be aligned with their goals and lifestyle. They offer variety and choices to increase change while being affordable.
